Golden thread DEEL worth $483032

A dragon-patterned Mongolian DEEL-(Mongolian traditional garment) made of golden thread belongs to the Golden Horde which is the 14th century, was sold at a Christie auction for $ 483,032.

This amazing artifact has survived until today. This women’s DEEL was made on expensive silk material decorated by a golden thread. It has a design of pocket like a hole under the armpit to reach out and both men and women used to wear them. This pocket style is a reflection of women used to involved in everyday life, such as archery, sword-wielding.
