Russia Resumes Flights To 52 “Friendly” Nations



From April 9th 2022, Russia is welcoming flights from 52 friendly countries because it says it's getting the coronavirus under control.

Russia will lift restrictions on scheduled and charter flights to dozens of countries, previously imposed due to the spread of COVID-19, on April 9. The Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin specified that he signed the corresponding document, which the aviation industry and citizens have been waiting for. «The incidence rate is declining, which means that it is time to expand the destinations that are available to Russian airlines. Now they can fly without restrictions to 15 countries.

We are resuming air communication with 52 countries,» Mikhail Mishustin said.

These countries include Algeria, Afghanistan, Argentina, Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil, China, Costa Rica, Egypt, Ethiopia, Fiji, Hong Kong, Israel, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Jamaica, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Lesotho, Mauritius, Madagascar, Malaysia, Maldives, Morocco, Mozambique, Moldova, Mongolia, Myanmar, Namibia, North Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Thailand, Tanzania, Tunisia, Turkey, Uruguay, Venezuela, Vietnam and Zimbabwe.
